Yes Adam, i had the mesh put it, had it done privately in liverpool, i think it must 5 year ago now.
recovery would have been much quicker had i not gone cycling around sicily just a week later.
you will think you are ready to return back to the gym, because you will literally be pain free, dont do it!!
you must wait at least 6 weeks bud, if you cant wait that long, just concentrate on calves or something, stuff that you are not tensing the area,.
mine ruptured from the cycle ride a week later, and was hanging out again.. not clever but the no pain will fool you.
