Hi guys , wanted to know what's your views? Have a cheat meal or cheat day ? Once a week? Weekend? And views on alcohol? Any benefits to guys in their 40? Recovery? Testosterone ? Empty calories. If your spending that time in the gym, money on food and supplements. Be good to see what you guys do and have etc

Simple answer. Cheat meals and enjoying normal food are both good if you're not a pre-comp bodybuilder !

I’m quite strict and disciplined all year round to be fair.

However, I don’t make a living by doing what I do, I will never be stepping on stage either so do I deprive myself of the good things in life?

Heck no, I guess I “cheat” once a week, it might be a single meal or an entire day but I won’t turn down a family take away with a film night nor will I refuse to go to a particular restaurant because it doesn’t “cater” for my lifestyle

I try to keep sugar to an absolute minimum and I haven’t touched alcohol since 2018 that’s about it

Enjoy whatever you are craving and reward good behaviours

If you must drink...drink H2O, alcohol is a big no-no!!

That's good, specially about the alcohol, throws you back, and junk food just needed some motivation and reassurance lol as I'm surrounded with guys who love a good drink and junk food , you tell yourself one drink is OK but then it never stops at one.

When I started this game many moons ago it was so I could eat normally as I went chubby as as a teen ? I dont eat sweets or chocolate and dont eat much junk food , but the odd indian or a nice slice of cheesecake wont harm you ? Its a reward for effort you put in on the daily ?
Life is short , enjoy it now and again 😊
