I'll see if I can afford to join an exclusive David Lloyd health spa next year mate but I'll have to make do with the "warehouse" environment at my local independent crossfit gym until then lol

The gym I train at is really basic and no frills but it's got plenty of decent kit and no pricks that want to mess about with their phones and walk around the gym trying to talk to other members and socialise. Absolutely diabolical facilities though. Unisex toilet with 3 cubicles. No showers. No cafe etc.

I mentioned to my mate who trains at a commercial near me and he said yeah this type of thing goes on all the time and he would prove it later with a pic (below)

He said they touch each other more than the machines or weights, surely there’s a time and place ffs

Train and get the fuck out. You can kiss and cuddle in the car or the privacy of your own home if you're madly in love and can't keep your hands off each other for 60-90 minutes.

Nobody wants to see that shit in a gym....or anywhere public tbh.

It's almost like the prick is trying to say "hey everyone, look at me, I've got a girlfriend"

I've never trained in a commercial gym mate but I've been in a few different independent modern ones over the last 10 years and physical contact between men and women is seen as inappropriate behaviour by the PTs and they would quickly pull you to one side and have a polite word in your ear about gym etiquette and political correctness on the premises.

Most people in life these days get so easily offended by absolutely anything so kissing and cuddling in a gym would definitely piss off a lot of members and cause complaints if it was happening a lot and regularly.....so I honestly can't believe this is the norm in a commercial gym. Sounds more like random dumb behaviour from youngsters who don't know how to behave in public yet.....

Thank fuck. I think Summer is finally over. There's a nice cool breeze in the air almost everyday now even the temperature is still higher than I want it to be but I'm back out on the bike from Monday and doing some circuit training again then back to serious lifting the week after that if my gym can stay cooler than previous months
